Eligibility & Fees
To be eligible to live at Woodsworth College Residence, you must be a full-time undergraduate student at Woodsworth College in the Faculty of Arts & Science and have a residence guarantee.
U of T Residence Guarantee
Residence is guaranteed for all new full-time students entering their first year of university in an undergraduate program for the first time, provided that they have indicated their interest in residence by completing the University of Toronto’s housing application and have received and accepted an offer of admission before the indicated deadlines. Please note that students are not guaranteed residence at their home college.
Students who are not eligible for the U of T Residence Guarantee are encouraged to contact Housing Services to discuss potential options.
Eligibility for WDW College Residence
To be eligible for residence at Woodsworth College, you must:
- rank Woodsworth College Residence as your number one residence choice,
- accept an offer of admission to the Faculty of Arts & Science with membership in WDW College,
- be entering your first year of full-time undergraduate studies directly from high school, and
- have a residence guarantee.
Due to high demand and a limited number of spaces at Woodsworth College Residence, we may be unable to accommodate you, despite your having a residence guarantee. In such cases, you will be offered accommodation at another residence on campus.
Residence Fees
The residence fee for the 2023-24 academic year is $12,392. This includes a $20 fee that we collect on behalf of the Woodsworth Residence Council. Since our residence suites have fully-equipped kitchen facilities, we do not require that you purchase a meal plan. Should you wish to purchase one, you can view options available to you on the U of T Food Services website.

* OSAP/Govt deferred students: 1st payment deadline is September 30, 2023. The second payment deadline is January 30, 2024. Students are permitted to pay late, however service charges will be incurred during that time.
